Space Expo Athens managed to attract the interest of the greek people. Over 50,000 visitors were amazed to explore the "secrets" of space and eventually understand that space technology is closer to our daily lives than they might think. Guests had the opportunity to discover the practical benefits of space presented in our daily life, through rich audiovisual material.
Among many interesting presentations, Mrs. Charalabopoulou presented the innovative project INDES- MUSA - "Innovative multi-sensor network for DEformation and Seismic Monitoring of Urban Subsidence-prone Areas [INDES-MUSA]": Copernicus & GalileoApplications. The presentation piqued the interest of many visitors and became the the start point for fruitful discussions on the effects and benefits of the local community.
